1. Windows & Window Coverings
Windows that open to the outdoor provide the most natural form of ventilation. Whether you opt for drapes, venetian blinds or even roman shades, select synthetic options that won’t warp, crack or mildew. Shades that open from the top down are also a wise choice because they admit light and allow heat and humidity to escape from the top while covering the lower part of the window for privacy.
2. Bathroom Enclosures
Install a bathtub enclosure or shower stall to minimise the manifestation of mold and mildew in other areas of the bathroom vicinity. Shower enclosures made from fibreglass, acrylic or tempered glass require low maintenance and are a better alternative to shower curtains where mold tends to form.

3. Fanning Systems
One of the most common methods of bathroom ventilation - and also the least expensive - is the ventilation fan. Also commonly known as exhaust fans, these fans are usually mounted on the wall to flush out stale air while introducing fresh air collected from indoors.
4. Air purifier and deodoriser
While air deodoriser eliminates nasty smells with the fragrance of your choice, an air purifier circulates the air in the bathroom, filters and cleans it. Unlike common filters which merely capture the particles from the air, air purifiers both capture the particles from the air and kill airborne allergens, mold spores, bacteria, and viruses.
