When Safiah Ismail first bought this skyscraping condominium unit along Jalan Sultan Ismail, she knew exactly what she wanted to do with the massive space of her new home. Not one to conform to current trends, Safiah skipped the usual fare of creating a modern and contemporary décor and went with what she loves instead: Moroccan-inspired style.

“I adore the Moroccan style with all the rich, vibrant fabrics and textures, so that was basically the reigning theme for the interior décor,” Safiah expresses. “But most importantly, for me, it must be livable and comfortable.”

With the help of an interior designer, Safiah managed to infuse the Moroccan influence in the decoration – which are mostly confined to the main living areas of the house -  albeit a more subtle variation without being over-the-top.
